Amy joined as a Solicitor in 2025 bringing experience from the Family Court, having been working in the Legal Sector since 2007. Amy accepts instructions from individuals, family members, advocates or other professionals and the Official Solicitor. Since joining Amy has developed experience and knowledge of the court of Protection and applications brought under section 21A and 16 of the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
Amy works to achieve the very best for her client’s, alongside their family members and those supporting them. Her experience in Family Law leaves her with an ability to communicate with people providing assurance during difficult times and supporting them with compassion and understanding. Amy appreciates the importance of getting to know her clients, to better understand their situations so as to help make choices in their very best interests whilst ensuring their voices are heard.
Prior to joining the firm, Amy practiced in all aspects of Family Law. Having previously specialised in domestic abuse cases supporting vulnerable client’s and supporting families, Amy worked alongside local charities and support services. Amy was Chair of a local charity supporting victims of domestic abuse and worked in raising awareness of domestic abuse and support services for those affected. Amy was also involved in attending local schools to lecture on consent and healthy relationships. Following experience in honour-based violence and Forced Marriage cases Amy went on to specialise in cases involving children and financial proceedings between individuals.
In her spare time, Amy enjoys spending time with family and friends together with travelling.
