Lisa joined the firm as a Solicitor at the beginning of 2026 bringing previous experience of both property and affairs, as well health related cases before the Court of Protection. 
Lisa has a background in the Court of Protection and prior to joining the firm, she practiced in all aspects of property and affairs related work. This included making successful court applications for statutory Wills (involving the Official Solicitor), variation of deputyship orders (i.e. to obtain authority to sell a property), the appointment of lay deputies and Trustee Act applications. She also has experience of administering high value professional deputyships and gained invaluable experience of working collaboratively with care homes, case managers, occupational therapists, and multidisciplinary teams involving NHS ICBs and Local Authorities. 
In addition, Lisa previously worked for a local authority where she managed complex Deprivation of Liberty appeals (s 21As and s 16 Mental Capacity Act), and advised on aspects of the Care Act 2014, including deprivation of assets concerning care fees. She now focuses her practise on health, social care and welfare cases, and is passionate about supporting vulnerable adults and their families through complex and often sensitive proceedings.
Lisa can also assist with deputyship and Trustee Act applications, statutory Wills, drafting and registering Lasting Powers of Attorneys and/or queries relating to varying existing deputyship orders and other related queries from attorneys and deputies.
In her spare time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family and sailing having acquired RYA level status in both power boating and dinghy sailing.
