Angelo joined the firm in March 2020. He practises in both mental health and mental capacity law, which includes managing Court of Protection deprivation of liberty cases and representing mental health clients at mental health tribunals and hospital managers hearings. He is an accredited member of the Law Society Mental Health Panel.
Angelo regularly acts in complex and often contentious cases, including those involving serious safeguarding issues. 
He has won praise from clients, advocates and Official Solicitor caseworkers for his calm manner, persuasive advocacy, clear written communication, diligence and robustness in defending the rights of vulnerable clients. 
Angelo has previously worked as an education and charity law paralegal, as a healthcare assistant in psychiatric hospitals and at Citizens Advice. 
Outside of work, he is a keen runner, and raised over £1,300 for Pancreatic Cancer UK by taking part in the 2021 “Big Half Marathon” in London. He also works as a listening volunteer at a helpline for people suffering emotional distress. 

Qualifications

    First-class degree from the University of Warwick, and a distinction in the Graduate Diploma in Law and in the Legal Practice Course.
    Member of the Mental Health Lawyers Association and the Young Legal Aid Lawyers.
    Currently in the process of applying for membership of the Law Society Mental Health Panel.
